This Lego Lord of the Rings Commercial Is Too Precious to Skip

Last week I lost my mind over the announcement of Lego's new Lord of the Rings: The Shire set—and that was based on one grainy image. Well, now we've got something way better: an official Lego commercial… and it's delightful. Not only is the commercial beautifully animated in full Lego Movie-style glory, but it also stars the one and only Sean Astin, a.k.a. Samwise Gamgee himself, voicing Lego Sam and making us feel All The Feelings.

The ad brings The Shire to life in brick form, but that's not all—it also gives us fresh glimpses of the Rivendell and Barad-Dûr sets, with tons of movie-accurate scenes packed into each one. You've got Frodo and Sam setting off on their journey, Gandalf on his cart, the party tent from Bilbo's 111th birthday, and even scenes from Mordor because, well, you need balance.

I was trying to be a responsible adult and maybe just get one of these Lego sets. But now? Nope. I need all three. Because if I don't recreate all of Middle-earth in Lego form, am I truly living?
