I was already emotionally preparing myself for the sheer geek overload that is July 2025—I mean, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman, and Fantastic Four: First Steps all crammed into the same month? My popcorn budget is going to need its own line of credit. But now Paramount+ just casually strolled in and dropped another bombshell: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 is officially landing on July 17.
And not just one episode—two episodes right out of the gate. Bold move, Strange New Worlds. I like it.
Season 3 promises more of everything we loved in the first two runs: swashbuckling planet-of-the-week stories, Spock eyebrow raises, and Captain Pike's perfect hair facing off against the ever-terrifying Gorn (I'm still not over that Season 2 cliffhanger). There's also talk of a new villain that's apparently going to make life aboard the Enterprise extra tense. Bring it on.
No full trailer yet, but let's be honest—Strange New Worlds is one of the few shows that still captures that old-school Trek charm while looking like a billion-dollar blockbuster. July was already looking like a nerd's fever dream... now it's basically the Geek Olympics.
