Woman returns home from a flight to find a tiny kitten outside her apartment, is hilariously forced to negotiate with her housecat before bringing home a new sibling, and luckily, they reach an agreement

Before adopting a new kitten, there is only one creature you need to ask for permission - your cat. 

Being chosen by a kitten feels like one of life's most blessed moments. So pure. So wholesome. So adorable. And if you are a cat person already, then it feels like the biggest gift a universe can give you. A kitten. Oh, our phones would be full to the brim with pictures almost instantly. We would not hesitate to adopt that kitten. Except that's not exactly accurate. We would not hesitate to adopt that kitten, but our cats… well, they might have something to say about it. 

Everyone knows cats rule the household. That's a simple fact. Inarguable. You may be paying the rent for the apartment, but it's not the apartment's legal owner that's letting you live there. No, it's your cat giving you purrmission to live in their space. Without their permission, that apartment wouldn't work. And they don't ask for much. They ask you for food, for the occasional petting session, for their litterboxes to be cleaned, and, of course, for you to not bring home random kittens. They did not sign up for that. You should have made sure with them first. At least the owner in this video knew that. 

There is no arguing with the fact that this kitten chose her. That's just a fact. The kitten was literally waiting for her to come back home from her flight on the steps in front of her house. The kitten wasn't leaving. The kitten wasn't scared. She was just there, ready to be adopted into her new home. The kitten, of course, knew that this was, in fact, her home, so she knew that she would get along with the other cat inside without a problem. But the cat didn't know that, the cat wasn't ready for that, and the cat made his displeasure known. For a while. Until he caved too. Because no one, not even another cat, can withstand the cuteness that is an itty bitty kitty. In no time at all, they were all one loving family.
