Twitter Users Bond Over Quarantine Baking Fails

As much of the world is stuck indoors with nothing to do, many people are resorting to crafty cooking projects. Baking sourdough bread has been a big one on our feed, as well as banana bread. The latter is a delicious way to use your tired and aging bananas, when done right. When done wrong? Well, Twitter user Hend Amry took to the site to show how spectacularly wrong the simple recipe can go. And she's not alone. All over the world, people in lockdown have been trying to pass the time by making cakes, cookies and breads. And many of them should probably abandon baking altogether. These are their stories.

Text - hend amry @LibyaLiberty i've just made, what might possibly be, the world's most failed banana bread. if i had feral goats living in my backyard, i would hesitate to feed it to them. i will not be taking any questions at this time. thank you for respecting my privacy.

Banana bread - hend amry @LibyaLiberty Ohl almost forgot to put some blame where it rightly belongs - on the tweep who shared their perfect banana bread, thereby making me think I could produce the same outcome if I used the same recipe. #TwitterShamingTime twitter.com/chrisalbon/sta...
