Millennials Say They’re Twenty and Living With Their Parents Without Explicitly Saying That They’re Twenty and Living With Their Parents

Let's be real, living on your own can be so overrated sometimes.

Sure, it's nice to have your own space and you can use that expense alone as motivation to work hard and gain some good money.

But working hard is most definitely not everyone's vibe. Some of us are more than comfortable working very little, and mooching on our friends and family a whole lot, and we're not sure if there is anything explicitly wrong with that.

Life is short, but it's also very very long, we have plenty of time to work our asses off. Don't rush us!

No, but seriously, independence is sometimes good, and sometimes sh*t, and if you're somebody trying to save money it may be better to depend on the people you can, at least for a little bit. We're sure you'll pass it forward sometime in the future.

Anyway, @jasondrewkimmel is a content creator on TikTok who started a video prompt asking people to show what it's like being in your twenties living with your parents without explicitly saying it, and it is clear that a lot of us are in the same boat.

Let's watch.

Jason's Prompt

People had some pretty strong responses to Jason's video prompt, but before we dive into those, we saw that Jason also made a part 2!
