Karen's Manager Request Backfires

Karen the customer insisted on speaking to a manager, and came to find out that she was indeed already speaking to the manager. Nothing could quite warm the heart like getting to put a Karen customer in her place, by simply telling the truth. The best part with this particular scenario too, is that when Karen finds out she's already speaking to a manager, she tries and fails again to stir up drama. Best eat somewhere else next time, Karen.

During food service hours 6p-10p I would be float from area to area and help where needed. This was usually the restaurant section as it was full table service; where as the other areas the customer approached to bar/bistro to order and collect their own meals/drinks.

    Text - The restaurant section was split into an upper, lower and outdoor section. The lower section only had 3 tables as there were stairs and it was a thoroughfare for the outdoor section. The biggest table on that area could seat 6. We usually put larger tables in the upper section which is illuminated by down lights on tracks. One night a couple comes in and asks for a table of 10. They had no booking but it was after main dinner rush so it wasnt a problem. The lady (lets call her Silly Bitch

    Text - The issue arose when it came time to pay. The table before them, while they had paid, had not been closed off the till so when SB's bill came it had the previous tables on it as well. Again, easily fixed as I had access to a printout of the previous tables bill and was able to cross off what was not on their bill. Everyone was happy with this except SB. Me: here we go, after everyone else on your table has paid for their items we are left we 2 x steaks, 4 x drinks and an entree. SB partne

    Text - SB: we've have nothing but trouble here tonight. First you refused to seat us where we wanted and then you placed us under heatlamps. Me: initially We were told that it was to be a table for 10 which we can simply not fit in the section you wanted and those are just plain down lights. SB: we had to move ourselves and now you have messed up our bill.     Text - Sb: why not,I want to speak to them. Me: they work during the day.. By this time the partner is trying to get her to leave and mouthing that he is sorry to us. Sb: this is the worst place ever. Everytime I come here there are problems.. Me: well ma'am if that is the case, next you come out for dinner l'd advise you to go somewhere else.
