Groundhog, Squirrel, and Chipmunk Gather Together For a Snack
Picture this:
You're just looking outside at the beautiful sky and yard. All of a sudden something catches your eye, you see the teeny tiny picnic table you set up for squirrels, and low and behold, you see 3 squirrels using it! Then you keep looking, a little closer and it turns out that there seems to be a little party happening...because a squirrel, chipmunk, AND groundhog walk up to a teeny tiny full stacked picnic table!
That's right!
A squirrel, chipmunk, and groundhog were pictured sharing a meal together in Kingston, Rhode Island, and apparently, according to Ronald Lopes (who took the photos) the three get together almost every day!

So how did it all start?
Ronald recently told turnto10 that he had hung bird feeders recently and noticed an increase in squirrels and chipmunks coming around.
So he decided to buy a miniature picnic table and fill it up with some goodies for them.
Lopes explained to turnto10, "I got it to feed the squirrels and chipmunks. Everyone sees them as nuisances, but I like watching them. They're actually pretty funny to watch,{...} So, I get up in the early morning and they wait and when I come out there, literally five minutes later, they all come on the deck eating out of the picnic table and eating out of the bird feeders."

And then he saw something quite special...a beautiful breakfast date
First came a squirrel, then a groundhog, and on the side lines...a little chipmunk.

Lopes explained that had never seen like it before.
He even stated, "They kind of settled down and started eating together, which I think it pretty cool."
The date seemed to go on without a hitch and they all seemed to enjoy each other's company.

The breakfast date is now a regular routine
The adorable pair have seemed to make this a daily routine and snack together peacefully and the photos that Lopes takes makes it all the more enjoyable!
We just can't help but smile at these adorable breakfast club moments!
