Parents, you all know that your child never came with a guidebook when you took them home from the hospital's maternity ward. Unfortunately, we don't all magically know how to be a good parent or what to do when our kid inevitably acts up. But at a certain point, we must trust that our parenting days are behind us, leaving the disciplinary actions of yore behind us in an attempt to let our kid be an adult. By the time they're 30, they're definitely not a kid anymore and don't reap any benefits from being grounded.
That's just fanning the flames of a soon-to-be-burnt family bridge.
