Step 1
Take a piece of standard printer paper (A4 or letter) and place it on the table horizontally. Fold it in half long ways and smooth down the crease.
-
Step 2
Open up the paper again. Take the bottom right corner and bring it in so the top edge of the triangle meets with the center fold. Smooth this crease down.
-
Step 3
Now do the same to the other side. Bring the top right corner in to meet the center fold. The right side of the paper will end in a triangle shape.
-
Step 4
Take the top of the triangle on the right side of the paper and fold it to the left to meet the bottom edge of folded paper, in line with the center crease.
-
Step 5
Now take the bottom right edge of the paper and align the diagonal side of it, of the edge of the original triangle shape, and fold it in to the center crease.
-
Step 6
Do the same to the other side. Bring in the top edge to meet the center fold. Now the paper will be shaped like a triangle with a flat top.
-
Step 7
Take the top flat edge of the paper and fold it down to meet the edge of the folded wings at the center fold.
-
Step 8
Flip the paper airplane over and fold it in half, with the folds on the underside.
-
Step 9
Bring down the top wing, folding it so the top edge of the wing meets the center fold of the paper airplane.
-
Step 10
Flip the airplane over and do the same on the other side, folding the other wing in to match the first one. The paper airplane should be symmetrical so it can fly straight.
