In honor of the game's 30th anniversary Nintendo UK has released these images of the games development from way back in 1986.
Now, as you might expect for a game that was developed just after the first iteration of windows launched. The entire planning of the overworld and structural lay out of dungeons was done on these pieces of paper.
It's truly incredible what the ideas on these sheets went on to create and inspire. -
