As Daily Local News reports, Teddy Bear (previously called Prince Harry) has spent the majority of his life inside of a cage as a breeding dog at a puppy mill in Lancaster County. And though it's upsetting to say the least, it is somewhat expected that by the time he got to the hospital, he had serious health issues to deal with, including being paralyzed and unable to walk as well as having difficulty urinating. A veterinarian medical doctor at Ludwigs, Gillian Harclerode, told DLN: "We see and treat many dogs and cats from rescue situations. It is particularly heart-wrenching when they have a devastating condition with a poor prognosis."

In good hands now, after the diagnosis, Teddy was moved to Zoe's House in Reading, a nonprofit organization that rescued "broken dogs, just looking to be loved." As Lakin Harmon explained: "We are a grassroots organization, working tirelessly to rescue dogs from situations that no creature should ever endure... We give life-saving medical attention, hope for a better future and a loving human touch some have never known, and find them their forever home."

Teddy was then fostered by Michelle Weirch. They first met when Teddy was still paralyzed, but, after only a week of companionship, Weirch was amazed that "she said one day she looked outside the window and saw him running in her backyard. He could walk again. He could run," and no news can be more uplifting.

And finally, the last stop was at him new forever home, with C.J. Susko. She first agreeing to adopt Teddy, Susko was told that he was paralyzed, so when Weirch called with an update, saying that he could walk again, Susko was elated. "He's a senior gentleman," Susko said, adding that he's "doing remarkable well."
