It's never easy to bring a new kitten home. All you want is for the kitten to be happy and cozy and understand that you mean it no harm. Sometimes, it takes a while for the kitten to discover and get used to its new home. But eventually, they see the loving adoptive parents that we are and give us a chance.
Such is the story of Melfi, MickDuncher's adoptive kitten. For a whole week, she hid in the bedroom and didn't leave, scared of her new environment full of new humans and animals. But now, she's a happy girl, and we're happier for it.
