Heartwarming Story Of A Survivor Brain Damaged Cat

Taking care of animals with health issues or behavior issues is always a challenge. It's hard to watch an innocent animal like that suffer when all you want is for them to be the happiest in the world. That difficulty, of course, is no reason to give up on them. And imgur user KDC0982 definitely didn't.

The story of Gimli is a difficult one to read, but thanks to everything that KDC0982 has done for him, he is now much healthier and is happily getting cuddles on the couch with KDC0982's dad. Gimli is an absolute hero in our eyes, and his story is inspiring. We're so happy to see that he's better, and we wish he will get even better as he continues to live in this warm home.

We cannot imagine a worse call to get and worse news to be delivered over and over. Hearing this only makes us appreciate his survival more than we already had, and it makes us even more grateful for everyone's hard work.

"Going through this with Gimli has had its ups and downs. He ate a WHOLE toy in December and I thought for sure he was going to die. But he threw up the whole thing 36 hours later thank goodness!
"And I appreciate all the little things. Like when he got his sight back! He still bonks into things because he doesn't have depth perception but he will look at me wide eyed and slowly come towards me.
