I don't know about you, but whenever I hear that a TV couple dated in real life, it changes the entire watching experience for me. The kisses aren't just 'on-screen' kisses Their fights feel more real. Don't even get me started on the cheating scandals. Suddenly their TV relationship carries ten times more weight, and they will be ruthlessly shipped both on and off-screen until the viewers see wedding bells.
This is our relationship too now, sorry to be the one to break it to you.
This ICONIC TV couple met over 20 years ago and, after many breakups and makeups (both on and off-screen), they finally tied the knot in 2014. Kunis and Kutcher are like those high school sweethearts that reunited later in life –– except their high school was the set of That 70's Show.
Speaking of iconic early 2000's sitcoms, Freaks and Geeks deserves a shout out as well. Although the relationship appeared fairly one-sided on-screen, Segel and Cardellini did actually end up dating for several years even after the show was canceled.
Oh, you thought we were done talking about iconic 2000's sitcoms? That's funny. But seriously, fans loved the dramatic relationship between Rory and Jess on Gilmore Girls. Apparently their on-screen chemistry was clear to them as well. The two dated for 4 whole years between 2002 and 2006!
Bledel is back. But this time for good. This couple's real-life story is much more romantic than what they had on-screen. Maybe that's the key. They are still together and welcomed their first child In 2014. I hope someone told Jess.
This hilarious duo started dating in 2000 and got married right around when the show began. However, they have since announced their separation in 2012. They still cute tho.
Another hilarious duo. Nancy was already married to Steve when she guest-starred on The Office, however, the two were really able to make it seem as though they were an awkward and uncomfortable pair. Now, THAT'S some acting.
The two were on and off for many years, but are now permanently off as Ian is fully married to Nikki Reed. Man would these two have some beautiful babies though.
Spoiler alert, although their characters ended up together, these two went their separate ways. Lively is now married to Ryan Reynolds, and Badgley spends his time stalking women around NYC. Oh, wait! That's just another TV show... oops.
Their on-screen passion was real. The two dated for years and even tied the knot eventually. However, much like their characters on the show, it wasn't meant to be, and they recently split up. It is what it is.
This power couple stole our hearts. Unfortunately, though, they split up officially in March 2020. Jughead, no!
Oh, Riverdale. This show is ridiculous, but the couples are real. Although their characters were barely together, this pair dated for over a year, until splitting up in 2019.
The fans really rooted for these two to work it out together on-screen, but they did one even better. The two stepped out as a couple for their first event in late 2017.
Soon after playing onscreen couple John B and Sarah Cameron, Stokes and Cline eventually became a real couple. The two officially confirmed they were dating in June 2020.
Although the two never were really a 'couple' onscreen (due to obvious reasons), apparently they developed so much chemistry on set together regardless. Their relationship was allegedly confirmed around February 2020.
JK JK, I simply just wanted this so much for so many years that it felt necessary to include them. No, they never dated. But PB&J is forever iconic.
