Cats Choosing Cheap 'Toys' Over Expensive Ones (Viral Tweets)

Okay, so be honest, how many of you bought a really expensive cat toy/bed this year, hoping that your cat will love it and use it and sleep in it and that you'll be able to take the cutest pics of them with it, only to have the cat disregard the purchase completely? Be honest. It's all of you, isn't it? We've all definitely done it.

There's no shame in wanting the best for your kitty. It just so happens that sometimes the best for your kitty is... having a big ol' box to sit. And let's be real, box pics of "if fits, I sits," are some of the best pics out there. One of my cats ultimate favorite 'toys' is a crumpled up small piece of paper. That's it. Just pick any used piece of paper, crumple it up, toss it in the air, and my chonker will go flying after it like nothing else. Literally nothing else. It's amazing to watch, actually, it's basically the only exercise she's ever willing to do.

The weirdest 'toy' my cat loves playing with is a grape vine after all the grapes have been picked off it. I think it tickles her which is why whenever she touches it, she jumps. It's hilarious. And totally weird. And I love her weirdo little self more than anything.
