Get ready for incoming war flashbacks, all you cat owners in the crowd, because we have all had that moment of suddenly realizing that we haven't seen our cat in a while, going to look for it, then not finding it and losing our heckin' minds.

Then, it's one of two things: either the cat has been sleeping in the closet this whole time and is perfectly innocent, or - the more likely option - that hooligan has been hiding in his new hiding spot for the past half and hour, absolutely enjoying my stress while I'm shaking his bag of treats, looking for him.

Cats are jerks. That's a known face. We still love them though.

When I tell you that I have spent a whole minute looking at this picture with absolutely no idea what I'm looking for, I am not even lying. This is true sneak level 100 right here. I would have lost my mind searching for this little hooligan at home if this had been my cat.

Another heart attack just waiting to happen. This is too good. They are way too good. And you know, you just know, that this is on purpose. Even if you come at this kitty, shaking a bag of treats, this little jerk would still stay hiding. They like spooking us, that's the only explanation.
