Not-Yet-Spiky Baby Porcupine Fuzzballs (Pics)

    Did you know that porcupines are born with soft fur? So, they're literally little fuzzy fluffballs when they're born. No scary spikes to be seen anywhere. They grow their famous quills sometime during the first week of their life, but up until that point, if one offers you a hug, it's totally safe to do it.

    Can you really tell us that you wouldn't want to pet this fuzzball? I mean, we get that they're intimidating when they're old, and they have their quills out and ready to defend themselves and their babies, but like this? With this big ol' fluffy nose and disheveled hair? Yes, please, let me pet this cutie.
