Opossums are the only marsupial found in North America. They are nocturnal, and their pregnancies only last 12 or 13 days - and up to 20 babies can be born at once. Wow! That's why this mumma has so many babies hanging off her.

Koalas are native to Australia and only have one baby at a time. They spend 18 to 22 hours a day sleeping, even when new babies are born. Luckily, they don't have to deal with a baby waking up every half an hour during the night like a lot of humans do.

This is a mother and baby lynx. Lynx are a type of big cat and have litters of one to eight cubs. Baby lynxes stay with their mother until they are 2 or 2.5 years old.
