Every single cat deserves to have the most loving and amazing forever home. Even the senior cats, even the cats with behavioral problems, the most "difficult" and "unadoptable" animals still deserve to have a forever home worthy of their love.
We understand why it's hard to adopt a senior - it takes a big emotional toll knowing that they're not going to be with us for a very long time. So, we get why people don't adopt them as often as kittens, but that understanding makes us all the more appreciative when people do adopt senior cats, and especially super-senior cats.
These tweets are going to make you 'aww' and also make your heart hurt ever so slightly - but in the best way. Your heart will be full of love reading these tweets.
Seriously, I'm not sure that I could do this amazing thing myself, as much as I love cats. I've had my cat since she was a baby, and the thought of losing her is devastating. What this woman did is heroic in our eyes, and we are so, so grateful that she's going to give this gorgeous cat the life that he deserves, no matter how long that life will be.
This one is mildly heartbreaking, and yet, we cannot help but be so happy reading this. Every moment of those 19 months and 23 days was precious for this cat, and the fact that you made sure he had love and warmth probably meant so, so much to him. And it means so, so much to us.
