I'm loving the pacing of this story. In that, the protagonist keeps a level head when faced with extremely aggressive and irrational antics from some entitled parents that were never going to be reasoned with. It's also great that everything was ultimately able to be de-escalated in such a way that nobody was harmed. Except for the entitled dad's ego.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/entitledparents subreddit by u/firegod828, who honestly is a true storyteller from beginning to end. If you live near a popular beach, you can probably relate to this person's struggles as there are likely numerous entitled vacationing families searching for free parking spots and violating the rules along the way. Thankfully, this Redditor also happens to know practically every local in town, so when push came to shove, they had a ton of useful folks on their side. Unfortunately, there never seems to be an end to the kind of entitlement these parents have. I hope they learned a valuable lesson from this experience, but if I'm being honest with myself, that's highly doubtful.
