Ladies, (assuming only ladies are the ones reading this thread), let's be honest. We love to hate our periods. Yes, they are literally the worst. They give us pain, discomfort, and ruin a good portion of our clothes and sheets. But they're also kind of like our little secret. It's something we can hold over people without uteri. Yes, women get oppressed and treated unfairly in basically every context. But at least we know that our bodies can be constantly bleeding for days, and we can still get our sh*t done. That's pretty badas$ if you ask me.

Right?! You would think after the thousands (maybe millions) of years of periods that there would finally be some kind of organization around our cycles. Yes, we have birth control, but... we won't get into how faulty that system is.
Side note: Do we think that dinosaurs got their period?

I don't know if I've ever related to something so much. Every month it's the same damn story. I'm overreacting HEAVILY to some minor inconvenience, and then I curl up into a ball and start questioning if I have any friends. Then the next morning I go to the bathroom and suddenly I understand why.
