Dumbest Things People Were Paid To Do
We like to think that money reflects hard work. But take a look at the schedule of your boss's boss's boss and you'd be hard-pressed to find a whole lot of spilled elbow grease. The sad, weird reality is that money is just flying around. And sure, most of the time people are paid a reasonable amount of money to perform a reasonable task, but we can all point to a time when the financial side of things just didn't make any sense.
But then at the same time, we really really need money. If you don't have any of it, you very quickly find yourself willing to do strange, filthy and downright disrespectful things to get some of it. The less money you have, the more it's worth. And the more you need it, the less gross a mouthful of bugs starts to seem.
Let's just hope that if you find yourself doing something stupid for money, it's part of the first "money is meaningless" category rather than the latter "my dignity is meaningless" category.
