Nostalgic Twitter Users Reminisce About The Perks & Pitfalls Of Their Parents Jobs
As the world mostly seems to be falling apart, it's really clutch that we enjoy (and fully appreciate) any positivity we can get our proverbial hands on. Sometimes the good vibes come in the form of wholesome memes, or happy human interest stories. Today, that goodness is coming to you in the form of a nostalgic Twitter thread. A few days ago, Twitter user @causalinf asked his followers to share the perks they enjoyed as children thanks to their parents careers. The thread really brought us back to simpler times, when going to work actually seemed fun from the outside. While the stories are mostly positive, a few people decided to share some of their less than happy memories. This keeps the thread a bit more realistic, as not everyone had an idyllic childhood with gainfully employed parents. At the end of the day, though, it's nice to look back fondly on days when drawing on computer paper and getting spoiled by a workplace of adults was a real treat.
