People often say that men and women can't be friends. A lot of the time it isn't accurate, there are plenty of male and female friends, but there is an ounce of truth to the idea that one person usually has to put their foot down and friend-zone the other person in order to go in the friendship direction. I think it is just a natural human instinct to consider something romantic with someone when you first meet them, even if it's just a single momentary thought that leads to nothing.
Men are revealing times they friend-zoned a woman on Reddit, as well as how the women responded, and it's definitely eye-opening.
It was Reddit user u/opton8 that asked guys if they ever 'friend zoned a woman who was trying to get with them. Usually, women are accused of being the 'friend zoners' but apparently the script gets flipped quite often because there were over 3.4 responses from guys.
It's natural that people get turned off by someone going into too much detail about their love life. If someone doesn't ask, it's usually better not to share so much... especially if you're trying to seduce someone.
