Mildly Weird But Cool Animal Facts And Stories

There are so, so many things that we don't know about animals, no matter how many things we listen to, how many cool animal facts we read, some things about the animal kingdom will forever remain a mystery. Well, today, with the help of factsweirdon Instagram, we will be revealing some of those animal secrets you haven't known.

Just... please be prepared, because some of these facts and stories are more weird than anything else. You're gonna take a whole journey today, from reading interesting animal facts, to wholesome and heroic animal stories, to... one sentence long stories that will take you on a book's length worth of plot.     Honestly, this story took us on such a ride, we feel like we were experiencing side-effects right with this guy. From being thankful to him for being such an amazing hero, to absolute mind-boggling confusion, to understanding settling over us, followed by mild disappointment, and finally, a snort.

    The level of insanity that must have been happened at that zoo once they realized what had happened is something that we would have paid good money to see. We can only imagine the sheer number of people that were involved in this operation who got the embarrassment of their lives. Must have been hilarious. Also, sorry for laughing so hard.

    Light - Pufferfish release a toxin when they puff out that is meant to impair the attacker, so they can safely escape. Ironically, this doesn't work on dolphins in the same way and actually gets them high. So, the dolphins purposely inflate them and pass them around to their dolphin friends for fun.     Horse - The Icelandic horse is a breed of horse developed in Iceland. Icelandic horses are not allowed to leave the country. If they do so, their return is banned.
