Font - Posted by u/brotherwifeaita 8 hours ago AITA for not telling my brother me and his (now) wife used to be friends with benefits? Throwaway account because friends are on here. Me (23M) and my brother's (26M) wife (23F) have known each other long before they started dating. We met in freshman year of college and almost immediately became friends with benefits, this went on for about 3 years maybe every other day. We weren't compatible at all so we never dated, just sex. During that time bot

Rectangle - SenpaiRanjid - 7h Partassipant [1] Also they both got into relationships, but the boinking didn't stop, because shit wasn't serious enough.. For a lot of ppl the relationship mark is where it's serious enough, but okay. But gladly OP is such an honourable guy he stopped the sex when his brother started dating her, lol.

Rectangle - Stormdanc3· 6h Partassipant [2] "We didn't have sex out of respect for me brother" Well yeah, no shit Sherlock, for most people being in a relationship = "not boinking anyone else without my explicit knowledge/consent". That's not some sort of special consideration you give just because someone happens to be your brother. That's called 'not cheating'.

Rectangle - QuitaQuites · 8h Pooperintendant [69] YTA Yes you should have told him. She ALSO should have told him. The other thing that got me is you two stopped purely out of respect for him, but not because she wanted to stop? Because she would have cheated on another dude with you, but oh not your brother? You both should have said something, before they stared dating.

Human body - Hot-Swim1819 · 4h She should of, not OP. I mean. They're family yes, but once she got serious with bro, she should've told him. Once they got engaged and she didn't cop to it, OP should've said something.

Mammal - RB1327 · 8h YTA, her too obviously. This wasn't a one-night stand. This was 3 years of screwing. She should never have even entertained the idea of dating him, knowing he was your brother. There are plenty of fish in the sea. And you should have mentioned it as soon as you heard even a whisper in the wind that they might get together. It doesn't matter that she wasn't your "current" FWB at the time.

Human body - citrusscentedcortex · 8h YTA - Only becuase you are so close to him. You guys are brothers so if you slept with his wife (!!) before they got together, that is info you should have volunteered to him early on in their relationship, rather than letting him find out randomly after marrying her. I think most anyone would be upset in his situation

Font - jc05011906 · 8h If you cared about your brother at all you would have told him this long ago. You were fine with making him the fool. YTA, and so is she, majorly. Be ashamed!

Font - Chairmanca93 · 8h · edited 7h Commander in Cheeks [235] You know it's interesting. The Reddit side/lawful neutral of me says N TA as you weren't having sex with her while they were together, so it's pretty irrelevant. The real life side of me YTA. I totally understand why he'd be upset at that. And it seems weird that no one would even bother to mention it to him or anything. You really thought he'd take that news well when he found out?

Font - TokarevCowboy · 8h Yes, he should've known that before he married her. You're his brother for Christ's sake why would you hide that.

Font - snowwhitesludge · 8h Colo-rectal Surgeon [36] Super uncomfortable family dinners ahoy. I think you and her are the assholes here. I do think it should have been brought up before they got married and I think the majority of that is on her but it still feels pretty scummy. I feel bad for your brother. So lightly YTA, but so is she.
