An Ode To Ginger Cats (Pictures)
Ginger Cat Appreciation Day may take place in September, but we here at ICanHasCheezburger think that it should be celebrated year round! Any day to recognize these awwdorably unique yet often overlooked feline kings and queens is a reason to celebrate. Most Americans may remember some of the most iconic ginger cat characters such as Garfield with his quirky fun loving attitude! Or Hobbes, of Calvin and Hobbes who is the total embodiment of playfulness and feline instincts.
These playful characters have definitely had a huge impact on how much we adore ginger tabby cats. Just like in humans, there are all different shades of kitty ginger ranging from yellows and oranges to even some light reds. We could easily mistake these ginger cats for tigers with their big personalities and readiness to pounce! Absolutely adorable.
