As anyone who has experienced it can attest, being a parent is one of the hardest things that anyone can do. This is especially true of moms, who often find themselves being judged for every single decision they make with their child.
Sometimes, though, a little scrutiny is justified — not least when your job is all about your public image. When Emily Ratajowski posted Instagram pictures with her baby yesterday, Twitter users were quick to voice their skepticism. The issue? She did not appear to be holding her son properly.
While some voiced legitimate concerns about the example she was setting, many others saw the perfect opportunity to joke about balancing modelling with motherhood. Whatever the position, there was one important takeaway: think before you post, and not just about aesthetics.
