One of the best parts of having a big family when you start having kids is all of the help and support you can receive. Single mothers could especially benefit from a helping hand every once in a while. It's normal to ask for help but to demand or expect it unconditionally sounds more like entitlement. Everybody has their own life and it is not fair to constantly put people in compromising positions just because you feel overwhelmed.
It was Reddit user u/TakeOnMeTakeMeHigh who asked the 'Am I The A-Hole' community if they were in the wrong for saying no to babysitting for her sister. It's important that even our family members understand that 'No' is a full answer.
She begins by giving some much-needed context behind the situation. SO her sister is a single mother with 3 children. Clearly, her life is not easy, but it doesn't mean she can take advantage of people in her close-circle whenever she wants.
