We hate gyno appointments just as much as the next girl, but it's integral to check in on our health once in a while. As adult women, we're capable of booking necessary appointments by ourselves. However, what are you supposed to do if you're a teen girl whose mom has been refusing to book her an appointment for years? That's exactly what happened in a thread posted on Reddit's infamous "Am I The A$$hole?" subreddit this week. When the girl finally mustered up the courage to book an appointment herself, her mother was livid and insisted that she pay for the appointment by herself since she booked it without her permission.
