Babysitters need boundaries, and parents who hire babysitters need to respect boundaries. It's a tale as old as time: a teenager agrees to babysit for a family and finds over time that the parents involved don't have much respect for the babysitter's time, from staying out later than agreed upon to simply asking for too many hours.
Reddit user u/NagiNoe101 took to the popular subreddit r/EntitledParents to share a story from their adventures babysitting during high school when a mother they babysat for simply couldn't take no for an answer. The babysitter made clear they would be away from a Thursday evening to a Sunday, but the mother in question called the babysitter's house multiple times and even showed up at their door to ask them to babysit, completely ignoring each time they were told it could not happen. It's strange, but some people have a way of completely disregarding the very undeniable truth when they're repeatedly told it. Fortunately, we can bask in the glow of such a ridiculous story.
