Entitled Stranger Expects Custom Wedding Order As A Gift

The world's not going to run out of aggressive entitlement any time soon. It seems as if we're destined to continue crossing paths with ignorant walks of life that have deluded themselves into thinking they'll be able to lowball sellers that know way better than to fall for the ridiculous antics. This particular choosy beggar expected a stranger to give them a custom wedding order as a gift. Well, that whole approach didn't work out for them. It would be less expensive if you could find someone to cast the model and make copies that 9:41 AM way. Like I said normally I would estimate this project cost about $3,000, I said I would do it for $2,000. That's actually a pretty good deal and it works out to about $8 each. 9:43 AM

    Font - The moment you tell someone it's for a wedding it's 10x the price. You should be able to do this for me for like $100, or even better, for free, as a wedding gift. You have a machine that does all the work for you anyway, it's not.like you're making from by hand. What's it cost you, some electricity?     Organism - It's going to take roughly 50g of resin per print. Using 1 machine I can print 2 at a time, each print takes 10.5 hours. Resin costs me $35 per 1000g so 50g x 125 (2 per print) is $6,250g of resin used x $35 per 1000g is $218.75 for materials. 9:49 AM Soo it cost you $200 and you want to charge me $2k see!     Organism - I typically charge $2 per hour for printing time. 125 prints at 10.5 hours is 1,312.5 printing hours x $2= is $2,625. I'm not done yet. 9:50 AM I also typically charge $15 per print for prep and post processing, placing supports, removal of supports, cleaning the prints ext. $15 x 125 is $1,875. 9:51 AM

    Organism - To be fair, the charge for printing time is because while it's printing thats a machine that I can't use for anything else. And it's going to be tied up on your order for nearly two months. That cost also maintains the printer. So changing of FEP sheets, any damage to the LCD ext. Look I know it's a big expense, you can probably get them done cheaper and faster somewhere else, but that's what I can do. 9:53 AM If you like, I can model a single one for you. It'll cost probably about $2
