One of the things that we can learn from the animal world is that no matter how different we are, no matter how different our behavior is, we can still find ways to get along. Interspecies friendships happen all the time in the animal world - for different reasons and in different circumstances, whether it's the classic whacky friendships between cats and dogs or unlikely friendships like a white lion and a Bengal tiger who grew up together.

We absolutely love that this interaction between the two animals seems to have been initiated by the duck rather than the dog. Like, we know that dogs are the best, most friendliest animal on the planet, and this doggo looks so very happy about this moment, but seeing the duck be the one to approach just makes this all the more wholesome.

Same thing here, just the other way around. Everyone knows that cats are aloof, that it is hard to get a cat to show affection so openly. So, we know that this kitty brushing itself up against this animal is the highest form of love that it can give. And we love that. We love that so much.
