The golden rule of cleaning is that it's all about good old fashioned elbow grease. Use the right products and put in the effort and there's not all that much that can go wrong. That being said, this rule only stands when you are cleaning the place that you're meant to be. You might think this isn't an easy mistake to make — but that's not so much the case when you're a professional cleaner, as Louis Angelino III found out.
In a pair of viral videos posted recently under his TikTok username @stayscrewy, the New Jersey resident explained that he cleans the apartments of his friends for extra money. One of them asked if he would extend his services to the home of a colleague, who told him he could let himself in with a key under the doormat. He followed instructions, cleaned the whole apartment and fed the cat too, only to be messaged by his client wondering where he was.
Angelino had gone into the wrong apartment, which led to an amusing string of messages with its owner who apologized for the mess as they were doing renovations. Joking that he had become "the cleaning fairy", they even complimented him on a job well done and enquired and the price of his services if they ever needed a cleaner again. It may have been a lot of effort to put in for some free advertising, but it seems like it did the (unintentional) job.
