Man oh man, our hearts really go out to the poor people that are working tech support and having to deal with the wildly, hopelessly entitled human beings in this world. In this case, it sounds like Karen was very, very lost: Redditor u/jggunnbeliever posted to r/talesfromtechsupport to share how this poor user called because they were confused about simply seeing their own desktop screen, and not the full-screen Start menu on Windows that they usually use.
What do you even do with this? It's incredible how many people really no longer understand how computers work at this point. This tech employee tried their best to help, but it's really no use when the person you're talking to doesn't actually know how their computer works in the first place.
If you're looking for another juicy tale from the world of tech support check out the time that a client dragged out a ticket for days, and never realized that their device just wasn't plugged in.
