Awesome Alternatives To Engagement Rings

How's wedding season going, y'all? We've been having a jolly good time. In a recent AskWomen subreddit thread, women discussed what they would prefer to get from their significant others instead of an engagement. Some were adorable, some were practical, and others were just hilarious. Our fave has to be the woman that asked for an engagement sword. These Reddit ladies never cease to make us laugh.     For me it's a no-brainer: use the money we would have spent on the ring for all our travelling dreams.

    Human body - celestialism· 2d I like having a ring. But if it had to be something else, I guess I'd pick a necklace. It's less practical though, IMO, because it can dangle and get in the way while doing chores, cooking, etc.

    Font - Anxiety_Cookie · 2d Me and my SO/fiancé got empty bead bracelets (if that's what it's called) instead of rings. The plan is to get more beads as life goes on. We got our first and only bead about 2 years ago when we got our first non-rental apartment. It's a silver/steel(?) bead with a tree on it. Rings seem risky to us as we both tend to fluctuate in weight, and I would also be super scared of damageing it (and I probably would. I like to craft/build things, and I don't pay that much att
