Each person's family has a different way of showing love for each other. Some families are full of hugs and cuddles, some are full of trust funds and lengthy FaceTime calls. You work with whatever you have, and then you can choose the dynamic for your own children when you start your own family. It's hard to say if there's a superior love language, but one thing is for sure, it is not your job to judge someone else's and make people feel ashamed for showing love in the way they choose. It's time people understand what circumstances really don't involve them.
It was Reddit user u/GrandpaSam1948 who took to the 'Am I The A-Hole' community to ask people if he was in the wrong for hugging his granddaughter and for telling her that she looked pretty. This seems like a very odd story already.
Before diving into the story the OP clarifies that this is his first time writing an 'Am I The A-Hole' post and wants to share that he hopes he's doing alright. We don't know about you but this made us all go, "Awwwww, Grandpa, you're doing great."
