Things That Are Secretly Just Giant Scams

Unfortunately, there are far too many companies and shady individuals out there that are just looking to pull fast ones on unsuspecting victims. It could be motivated by the desire to make more money, or some people that have long been out of touch with their moral compasses just seem to enjoy the process of taking advantage of other well meaning human beings. Hopefully none of these alleged giant scams in disguise ended up taking advantage of you.
