What a satisfying tale of petty revenge. We love seeing a story in the internet wilderness about a boss who is actually ready and willing to back their employee when they could really use a manager's back. In this case, Redditor u/LoiGrimm told r/PettyRevenge about their trucking job picking up parcels from customers along a specific route each day. No problem at all — except for one customer that picked up an annoying habit of preparing for their arrival too slowly, wasting everyone's time and trying to blame it on our original poster. The OP here got fed up enough that they stopped bothering with efficiency altogether and started arriving at this customer exactly at their scheduled time and similarly leaving at their scheduled time. When the customers tried to complain to OP's boss, they cited the contract that everyone signed, leaving OP ultimately in the right.
We read far too many stories about corrupt bosses and maniacal managers who never should've been put in their positions of power in the first place. But in this case, finally, we have a boss actually backing their employee. Let's make this the new trend, world: it really would do us all some good.
