Cats Who Are Going Through Mild Existential Crises

We all have those moment, when we're thinking about something, and then we just... drift off and remember that really embarrassing thing that we did in the third grade. And there we are, thirty years of age, having a mild existential crisis. Well, apparently that's not just a human thing. Cats can be mildly startled by things in their lives too, and then they're sitting there, frozen with their tongues sticking out, having an existential crisis.

At least it makes for hilarious pictures though, and really, posts of cats being the weirdos that they are are one of our favorite things anyway. So, please, enjoy this collection of weirdos having existential crises, and we hope that this collection won't make you have a flashback of one of your own most embarrassing moments.

Birds really do seem to freeze cats' brains just about instantly. No matter what our cats are doing - whether it's sleeping, eating, playing - if there is a bird near the window, they will drop everything. Mid-chew, their minds will stop, and after a moment of clear crisis, they will bolt after that heckin' bird and try to get it.
