Healthline defines one's depth perception as ‘the way your eyes perceive the distance between two objects.' It continues to say that,’Both of your eyes perceive the same object slightly differently and at slightly different angles, but your brain can merge the two images into one 3-D image. With this information, you can gauge how far apart the objects are, as well as how far they are from you.'  It is commonly known that humans as young as 3 months gain show signs of depth perception, but we don't always think about how long it takes for animals.

It's pretty interesting when you think about it, according to petsdoc.org, a dog's field of vision is wider than a human's, but that doesn't necessarily make their depth perception any better. Anyway, their best known for their impeccable sense of smell.

A viral video is going around of a few dogs being tested by a vertigo carpet, and it is both interesting to watch, and, simply put, adorable. So without further ado…

Let's Watch

First of all, we all probably need a second to take in how sweet and hilarious these pups are. I could watch them hopping around for hours personally. This video was posted by the TikTok account, @petsoloveliness and it's already been viewed over 4 million times. Seems that tons of people are equally as compelled by these puppers.

There is plenty more vertigo content on their user's account so let's keep on watching!

Whether or not their depth perception is on point, we're pretty sure that we could all agree that these dogs are so cute and we could watch them do basically anything for hours. If this user has any more content of their lovely puppers, we will happily share!
