It's just never a good idea to play around with the people in your company that run the tech side of things. They have a whole lot of knowledge-backed power available at their disposal. In this case, it sounds like our tech wizard's coworker was a good enough sport about a weeks-long prank involving a wireless mouse that Reddit user u/Project-SBC connected to the co-worker's computer, allowing them to mess with him whenever they wanted to. All this as revenge for the coworker's misguided attempt to prank the original poster by hiding a plate of warm cookies. You don't mess with people's cookies, particularly not when they are fresh out of the oven.
So many revenge stories appear to have a nasty element to them; it's nice to see that this story wound up in a place where two coworkers have a solid laugh about it and go back to their lives afterward. Perhaps this sets off a new era of innocent workplace pranks: after all, why should the cast of The Office have all the fun?
Keep the revenge drama going with this tale about a grandpa who unleashed an act of pro revenge on some pranksters.
