Twitter Thread: Hooligan Kittens Who Get Into All The Places They Shouldn't

If you have never had a kitten before, then you might be thinking to yourself that it's all fun and games. It's a tiny kitten, what can go wrong? Kittens are just itty bitty adorable babies, they don't do nothing. Except that they do. Ooooooh, they do. Kittens are hooligans from day one. 

Being tiny does not stop them from being fierce and causing all kinds of mischief. They will disappear randomly in the middle of the day, and you will go searching and won't find them, right up until you find this tiny feline in the most random places. Inside of your closet? Pshh, all the time. In your sock drawer? Been there. Inside of your couch? Totally normal. We would not even be surprised to find them in the ceiling. Oh, wait, that's happened to some people too.

    Oh, man, we remember the first time we found our kitten inside of the couch. The heart attack we had before finding her there, listening to her muffled little meows, was unparalleled to anything else. We still get war flashbacks. It hurts. We're fine, not traumatized at all.

    Personally, we had to disassemble a part of the couch, but yes, we understand how this solution is the less traumatizing one. We are glad the little guy managed to get out of there on his own, because for the most part, these ridiculous felines know how to get themselves in but not so much how to get themselves out.

We spent days drilling holes in the house looking for her. We thought she'd died. She had jumped down into a space beside the fireplace. She's fine. I've lost years of my life.
