Tech support really has their work cut out for them. Far too many people in this mad world seemingly turn their brains off when they deal with technology, and when something starts to expand beyond what they think they understand, they sometimes take it out on the hardworking tech support employees of the world. In this case, we don't even know where to start. Reddit user u/ZoftOS took to a community specifically for bizarre tech support stories, r/TalesFromTechSupport, to share an interaction they had with a customer who ordered a wireless mouse and keyboard three separate times, claiming a USB dongle was never included in the shipped product any of the three times. While this customer seemed frustrated, it quickly grew clear to the tech support employee that they had not actually inspected the opened package — if they had, they would have realized their dongle was in fact there the whole time.
The fact that this customer repeatedly vocalized concerns over their package missing a key ingredient -- the dongle -- and never considered the possibility that an unopened package would most definitely have it.... is pretty unreal.
