Font - Big dog! [Fluff] I have a 75lbs mutt. She is the light if my life. I love this dog. And every single day we walk to the park near our house. And every single day a different kid points at her and says "Mom, big dog!" and I love it. I love it so much. Like the fact that she just made some kids day as much as she makes mine just by being a "big dog". 389 76 ↑, Share + Award

Font - klutzosaurus-rex • 3d I have a great dane. I cannot take him anywhere in public without someone commenting on his size, how much he weighs or how much he eats. People legitimately stop in the middle of the street to ask me questions or show their kids. What really made my day was on Monday: My vet's office has a daycare and I take him once a week to go play. As a result, HE LOVES THE VETS OFFICE (life hack there). Everyone there loves him and they talk about him often. Back in July they g

Font - dumbledorky · 3d I have an 85lb lab and frequently see children with their parents and the family small dog. About 80% of the time the kid points at my dog and says some variation of "that's a big dog!" And everyone gets a kick out of it...except the small dog, who seems offended. G Reply 4 28 ...

I have a 110lb great pyrenees mix, he is kind of unique looking and doesn't look like your average shelter mutt. So many people will just like stop their car in the middle of the road or shout at me from across the street to say "that's a huge dog!" or ask me about his breed lol. Yesterday we walked past a gym and a guy ran all the way out and across the s

Font - spokanedogs · 2d I have a Maremma sheepdog, the Italian cousin of the Pyr. When I had my first one in Calgary, people actually pulled over in traffic to tell me how gorgeous he was. They are striking looking dogs. 3 3 + stillwaitingforbacon · 22h I love Maremmas. Some say they are farm dogs only and not good pets. I have met a pet maremma and he was a very good boy. Have you seen the Aussie movie Oddball. As a maremma owner, you would love it.

Mammal - VetusVesperlilio · 3d My old girl, Cleo the Lab, weighed 110 pounds, most of it muscle. The only time she ever seemed too big was the night she had a stroke out in the garden and we had to move her into the house, then the car, and then to the vet.

Font - amateuridiots · 2d Kangal & Great Pyrenees My Great Pyrenees was the same when he was younger. One of my neighbors had six kids and the kids would take him for little walks up and down the street. He was so gentle, always paced himself to their stride, and genuinely loved the time they spent together.

Font - NaturalBornChickens 3d We have a Great Pyrenees and, while nowhere near as large as your wonderful boy, he gets a lot of attention when we go out in public. He absolutely adores children and babies more than anything. He would choose a kids park over a dog park any day! 1 12 3 ...

Font - stillwaitingforbacon · 3d My boy Henry has been gone a few years now. He was the biggest dog I had ever seen and used to get that comment from nearly everyone who saw him. He weighed 100kg (220 pounds) and was not over- weight. His breed is Newfoundland which is a big dog normally. He was an exceptionally large example of the breed. He was also a very gentle softy of a dog and would let kids climb all over him. I have to admit, I used to get a kick out of all the reactions he would get wh

Font - Appropriate-Tune157 · 3d I call my 80# lab "big dog" so often, he now responds to it! Seeing a big dog elicits that same urge to say "cows" when you see cows, lol G Reply 1 98 +

Font - MissChamomile · 3d MuttHutt I love big dogs tooooo My girl is 11 now and has the old lady body to match, but she usually sits around 94-98 pounds. When she was younger many were scared because of her size and her generally reserved nature (great dane x german shepherd - she's very wary of strangers) and people usually assume that she is a he because of her size. It always tickles me when people are scared of her cause I know that she is definitely more scared of everyone else lol

Font - CrueGuyRob · 3d That's fantastic! I friggin' love big dogs. I have an all- black German Shepherd and I am always so excited when little kids walk by him and say "Whoa. That's a wolf!" Kids always seem to notice that he's friendly before adults do.

Font - briittanyy · 3d Ellie: Rat Terrier | Elsie: Catahoula Mix I grew up with two GSD and loved them! The female, Nina, was so gentle and sweet. When we adopted our most recent gal we thought about getting a big dog. Now that we have her, she's 40lbs (though she will be 50 at a healthy weight) and 22 inches tall and I can't imagine having a big dog! She just takes up so much space! Lol
