The transformations that can occur even in a relatively short amount of time can be pretty crazy! Honestly, we get emotional sometimes seeing the sheer joy on an animals face after being adopted and taken into a loving home for several months. As you scroll through these photos, it's easy to see for yourself that these pawsome cats and dogs have received what in many ways is a second chance at life. It just goes to show that the power of love goes a heckin' long way!

According to u/pippitypopp, this awwdorable pupper was abandoned in a park in Georgia one year ago, who would ever abandon such a pure and wonderful doggo? This kind of thing really grinds our gears. In any event, now the dog is safe and sound in its forever home. Hats off to this pawdorable puppers new hooman for all the love and care!

Wow, we honestly have no words. Look at how tiny this smol kitty was when she was first adopted. Such a tiny vulnerable kitten in need to nurturing, food, and love. If you look at the photo on the right, you can see that thankfully that's exactly what she got when she found her forever home! We love to see it!
