It's important to remember that we are not our jobs. Well, most of us aren't. Some people live and breathe work, signing on over the weekend and replying to emails nearly as soon as they're sent - even in the wee hours. And we have to wonder: what the hell is wrong with them? From where we're standing, it's absolutely necessary to create boundaries, keep coworkers at arms length, and make sure your employers know that you're helping them - not the other way around. Unfortunately, these measures don't do much to lessen the pain of working retail or wanting to bang your head on your desk despite the open office layout. One of the only things that helps is solidarity. And there's a whole lot of it available on the internet, in the form of memes like these.
