Actor Dave Bautista Adopts Rescue Puppy: Offers $5,000 Reward

Everyone could use a little taking care of every now and then, especially innocent smol puppie. That's why we were so pleased to learn that a tiny three month old puppy named Penny from the Tampa Bay Humane Society was just adopted into her furever home. What's even more amazing and heartwarming is that her new hooman is a famous celebrity, Dave Bautista, who starred in several films such as Guardians Of The Galaxy and Dune, has officially adopted Penny.

In a video he shared on his social media, Dave offered $5,000 in cash to anyone who could give Dave information about the person who had abused Penny before she was brought to the humane society. Penny was found with a chain embedded in her neck, and Dave wants to track down the abuser. Other even donated more money, meaning anyone who can provide information about the abuser will be eligible for a generous reward of at least $11,000.

It all started when Penny, then named Sage, was found abandoned in a tragic way.

Poor Penny was found next to a cemetery eating garbage, with a metal chain embedded into her neck due to abuse. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay took her in, and she was sent to surgery to have the metal chain removed. Poor Sage was very tiny, and had to undergo a lot of medical treatment to recover.

Thankfully, Dave adopted her and is giving her the best care possible.

In his instagram caption, Dave wrote 'ATTN Tampa Bay: I will personally hand $5000 cash to the person who gives information leading to the arrest and conviction of the sick piece of shit responsible for this.' Dave went on to recommend that anyone with information about Penny's abuser can contact the Tampa Bay Humane Society with their information.
