Man Fuming When GF Discovers He Has Been Lying About His Age For Over A Year

Sometimes you can just feel it when someone is lying to you. Sure, you can look for the typical signs like avoiding eye-contact and rising body temperatures, but most of the time it's just a gut instinct. This girl had a feeling that her boyfriend was hiding something from her. Is her snooping justified since she turned out to be correct? That's up to you to decide.

    Font - He told his family I was 20. We went to a restaurant one time and they offered a wine sample, to which he gave them his ID and turned to me- in my shocked face, because I thought neither of us were of age- and said that it was a fake. He said his zodiac was one thing but it doesn't add up to his birth year. Whenever I asked the question of what year he was born, he avoided the question. Every. Single. Time. |

    Font - l'd never gotten an answer to the birth year question. So, I took matters into my own hands. One morning, when he was out, I went into where he keeps his wallet to look at his ID. The year it said didn't match up to his age. I figured it was the fake, and I knew he kept his other ID in his phone. I looked at the other ID, still, the same year, not the birth year I thought he was for the past year of us being together. He lied to me for a whole year and some.

    Font - Somehow he found out that I snooped in his stuff and this was the conversation: H: "So, what were you looking for in my phone? Did you find anything? Ask me questions cause I know you have them." M: "How many fakes do you have?" H: "2" 2... He lied again. He doesn't have any fakes!!! This man straight up lied to my face even though he saw I was distraught.

    Font - After this, he proceeded to berate me on looking through his things and how it was my fault that we're arguing and I put myself into this mess. He then admitted he lied... but still put the blame on me!! He got really upset with me and is currently ignoring me.

    Font - He's trying to make me out to be the bad guy when l'm not the only bad guy!! Turns out, he's 5 years older than me. I wouldn't care so much about it, had he mentioned it before we got in a relationship. It's just an age, but it hurts that he could sit there and lie to me for our entire relationship, even after I brought him around my family and friends. Who knows what else he could be lying about.
