Letting go of a relationship can be extremely difficult. It happens in phases, first you need to get used to not talking to them every day, then hopefully you gain the confidence to hide their socials from being easily accessible, and then eventually you need to decide what parts of them are worth keeping in your life - whether it be certain friends, music, or physical gifts. But some things are just damn useful, is it so toxic to hold onto something that still somehow sparks joy?

I like to look through it and think about the good times once in a blue moon. The functional items-clothes, jewelry, AirPods, etc.– are left out and still in use.
